SPEAKER AGREEMENT

Thank you for agreeing to be a part of our Weekend Experience and/or Event. We are honored to host you!

Here are some expectations of our speakers here at DL:

• Please be prepared to speak at all weekend experiences at our Melbourne Campus.

• Please email your message notes to silas@dl.church at least three days in advance of your speaking engagement.

• Dress for Discover Life is casual.

• If you are planning to bring a product to sell, it must be approved beforehand by Pastor Ken. If the product is approved, then it can be promoted by the host pastor.

• You will be given approximately 30 minutes to speak. There will be a timer on the back screen. Due to the turnaround time from one Experience to the next, it’s important to stay on time.

• Please arrive at the church one hour before the experience/event.

• We will have someone to greet you and show you to your green room.

• An Order of Service for our worship experience will be sent to you the week of the event.

• The host pastor will introduce you and cue you for when you will come on the platform.

• Discover Life Church is a Multicultural Church. Refrain from using any offensive jokes or slang terminology about a particular ethnicity.

• Please refrain from any speech regarding politics or political figures.

• We ask that you turn over the experience to the host pastor at the closing of your message; the host pastor will lead the Altar Call and close the experience.

• Please honor your contract agreement and times. In the event of an emergency that would prevent you from fulfilling your agreement, please contact us as soon as possible so we can adequately cover all areas.

Important DL Terminology:

• Clicks - Clicks are the Small groups of Discover Life Church.

• Grow - Grow is a 1 hour class designed for people to learn who we are, what we value, and how they can use their talents and abilities to make a difference in the Kingdom.

• Worship Experience - Sunday services are called Worship Experiences. This is because our goal is to create an environment for people to truly experience the power of God.

• Legends - Legends are the incredible volunteers of Discover Life who are making a legendary impact by using their talents and abilities to serve others.
